Surgery Day

We arrived at the hospital at 6:00am to check in for Tori’s surgery.

She was very calm and patient despite being hungry and tired.

She was taken back around 7:30am for the operation, which should be laparoscopic.

It should last about 3 hours total in the operating room.

Here are some pictures from this morning, for those not on Facebook or Instagram.

Please pray that all goes well!

  1. Lesa and Brennan, today is the first day that I read about your family (I don’t really live in a cave but it has often seemed like it during my frantic job search over months). I saw my sister and brother-in-law go through many of the emotions you have experienced with my nephew Andrew who was born with a different inherited disorder. Know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers today. I will keep up with your blog going forward and when I see an opportunity to do something helpful and can do it, I will. Today, I know that our Lord will keep you all in warm embrace and love.
