The Master Craftsman by Kelli Stuart is a marvelous combination of fascinating history, relatable family dynamics, thrilling treasure-hunting, and mystery woven throughout. The story captivated me from the very first page! I enjoyed learning more about Russian history – something with which I am not very familiar – and was drawn in by the masterful writing. In particular, the Fabergé history was fascinating and I looked up images of each egg she named, which added to my interest in the story. The author is skilled at bringing history to life while also telling a compelling story and I look forward to reading more of her work.
