I just spent a wonderful–yet exhausting–four days in Washington, D.C. I went for the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the American Studies Program (where I spent my Fall semester of 2003, interning for Newt Gingrich). It was incredible–great speakers, amazing friends…people who truly understand the passion we share for justice and Shalom.

My most fervent prayer this weekend was that the Lord would clearly show me where I am supposed to be. I was concerned that it would be incredibly difficult to be back in the city which I thought was to be my home a year ago…yet, as I was there, I realized that I would not be as happy there as I am here in SoCal.

I was surprised, to say the least…but it was also confirmed when I went to work this morning. I was so happy to be at work, with my co-workers…

I am at peace, I am content, knowing that–for the time being–I am where God wants me to be…

Below are some pictures from my adventure. Of course, I took far more than I can post here, so there are only a few. 🙂
