I have been blessed with healthy, thick hair and I have a lot of it. It is perfect for donating, so I have continued to grow it out for eight years now.

In January 2007, I did it for the first time with my cousin and my friend.

In September 2008, after I moved to Pennsylvania, I did it for the second time.

January 2011…

December 2013…14 inches.

December 2015…11-12 inches.

I donate to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths Program because they offer their wigs to cancer patients for free.

If you have healthy, uncolored hair, please consider growing it out to donate it! It will be such a treasured gift to the woman who receives the blessing of the wig. ❤️

  2. Such a great idea. Unfortunately, I started going gray at 20. Now at 38, I’m not willing to give up dying my hair. I do admire those that can.
