On July 30, 2024, Tori would be turning ten years old.

We decided this was a great excuse to celebrate her by continuing her impact, and we decided to do that by hosting a fundraiser that will benefit KrabbeConnect.

On September 7, 2024, during Leukodystrophy Awareness Month AND Newborn Screening Awareness Month, we will be celebrating Tori at the Hershey Gardens, and it’s for the entire family!

We will have games, food (that everyone will enjoy), a silent auction, and more. The Butterfly Atrium will be open, AND we might just have some special guests for the photo booth (hint: this is the “Sweetest Place on Earth“). The Children’s Garden offers a place for children to play – our boys LOVE it (and if you click here, you will see the twins in the official photos!).

Plus, you’re welcome to enjoy the beauty of the gardens – the roses should still be in bloom!

Brennan and I have a goal in mind of how much we’d like to raise in honor of Tori, but we will need all the help we can get! If you cannot attend, please consider making a donation to KrabbeConnect in Tori’s honor. Or, if you have something you’d like to donate to the silent auction, we’d love to receive it!

KrabbeConnect is a volunteer-run organization that drives research forward and supports families affected by Krabbe disease. Every dollar helps move closer to a day where every patient with Krabbe disease receives a timely diagnosis and treatment. Lesa is honored to be on the board of KrabbeConnect, helping to move our community closer to that reality.
