Several years ago, I discovered that there is a town in Northern Italy with my name.

Given that I have never been able to find even a keychain with my name on it, this was AMAZING.

So when we decided to go to Italy, I knew Lesa had to be on the list.

We flew to Milan and took a private car up to Lesa (about 45 minutes). When we arrived, we walked around and explored, looking for signs with Lesa on them. We found many! It was so quiet, uncrowded, and just what we needed after traveling for nearly 24 hours at that point.

It was a beautiful little town on the lake, and I would love to return to Lago Maggiore someday to explore more of it.

The next morning, we took the train to Milan and another to Florence to continue our “glimpse of Italy” adventure.
