I have spent the past ten years advocating in honor of Tori, to build a legacy for her, and I have succeeded.
Because of Tori, babies in Pennsylvania are screened for more conditions through #NewbornScreening, and more people are educated about the importance of NBS and aware of #KrabbeDisease. I’m not done building her legacy, of course, but I feel like it is fairly complete.
Events over the past six months have led me to realize that perhaps it’s time to begin a new chapter in my life and maybe it’s time to be more of a voice for Isaiah and Caleb.
So, when I was approached about running for school board director, both Brennan and I agreed that it was the right move.
School boards are nonpartisan, and they need people on them who will help the district make great decisions to benefit ALL students.

So, this is my formal announcement that I am collecting signatures from registered voters in Derry Township to get on the May ballot! 😍
This is a dream I have had for a long time (to be on a ballot), and while it’s a little scary, I’m up for the challenge ❤️
If you are a registered Republican or Democrat in Derry Township and would be willing to sign my petition, I would appreciate it greatly!
Great plan! Schools need dedicated advocates for students!

This is fantastic! Sending support from Tennessee where, unfortunately, our school board elections are partisan. Good luck to you!!
