Thursday: Flew to Sacramento, where my Mom picked me up and we went to Vacaville to stay the night.

Friday: Begin our road trip, through Western Napa Valley, up to Mendocino County. The high temperature was 63 degrees!! 🙂 Amazing. Pictures to follow. Drove inland to our hotel.

Saturday: Family reunion (our 45th annual) at Clear Lake. Great time with family, and the weather was fairly pleasant! I am the host for next year’s reunion–the first one in my generation to host a reunion! Now to find the perfect location…

Sunday: Goodbye until next year to family…beautiful drive through Eastern Napa Valley (Calistoga, etc.)…shopping in Vacaville…flight back to Ontario.

It was a great weekend, beautiful scenery…Northern California is TRULY the best part of the state! 🙂
