URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

Wow…I just talked to my “Pennsylvania Parents” (Tom and Leann), and found out that a young boy in my church there has disappeared. He is autistic, I believe, and he wandered out of the house yesterday unnoticed. It is below freezing there, snowing, and even though people and the police have been searching everywhere, there is no sign of him.

His name is Logan…please pray for him! I believe he is about 9 years old…and this is so devastating! At this point, it is believed that he is no longer alive, or that he was abducted. SO SAD! 😦

Please pray for Logan, and for his family….they’ve been through a lot in the past few years, and this is extra hard because of that!

Inauguration trip update…

Well, now all I need is a ticket to the actual inauguration, LOL. I was offered a free plane ticket today, and I have some family members who have offered to give me money for food, etc. SO, now I just have to wait a week or so to hear back from my four connections, with which I have my name in. 🙂

I really want to go! 🙂

Graduation

Our dear friend Jessica graduated today, along with 286 other students. It was so fun to see her–we’re so proud! She graduated Magna Cum Laude!!

Posted below are some pictures of her, and one of me and another friend who graduated. Oh, and, by the way, I am NOT a foot shorter than she is. We were on steps! 🙂 She’s only a few inches taller than me. Look at the pictures and you’ll see what I’m talking about 🙂

Lamb?

Well, it appears that I need to start liking lamb…according to this, and other travel websites, lamb is served quite often…fish is, as well…I can handle fish, but lamb? AND they really like their food spicy…that’s never good!

The International Olive Oil Council has this to say about Tunisian food…and lists several recipes

It’s time to get adventurous!

What a year…

As I sit here, writing my annual Christmas letter to put in my Christmas cards, I am amazed at all that has been accomplished/experienced this year…and, I am amazed at all that will take place next year!

And much more

2005:

* Possibly going to the Presidential Inauguration

* My own graduation

* Moving again…

* Tunisia!

* Two weeks of youth camp (one of those I am helping to create)

* Continuing work in my church…

I am SO glad that finals are over…that I only have one semester left of school…that I get to learn Arabic soon…etc.

It’s been quite a year, and I can’t wait to see what 2005 brings!
