Taking a break…
I’ve felt recently that I need to take a break from the blogging world, so starting tomorrow (since I’m going home anyway), I will not be blogging for awhile. I have no idea how long I’ll be gone, but I feel that this time is necessary for me to prayerfully evaluate some things and some relationships in my life.
Thanks for reading–I’ll be back soon!
PS–If anyone wants to try Google’s Beta email service, gmail, drop me a line. I have three invites, and I want to share! 🙂
New favorite site…
This has to be the most fascinating site I’ve seen in awhile! I love random trivia, and this provides much of that!
Check it out…it’s awesome!
Allergies and other things…
Life is pretty exciting right now! Allergies are pretty bad…bad enough that I took Benadryl last night (at least I slept really well!)…but, it’s not as bad as it has been in the past, so I’m thankful for that!
Last night my Bible study group met at my apartment, and it was wonderful! Such great fellowship and studying of the Word…we are working through Acts and were in chapter 5 last night, the story of Ananias and Sapphira–which is a kinda scary story, LOL. We talked about that and other things related to the story for over 2 hours. I seriously am so thankful for this group, because I can be completely honest about who I am, what struggles I have, etc., and they are there to help me through them…so awesome.
Still preparing to lead worship at the youth rally…I’m really getting excited about that! I can’t wait to see all of the youth, as well as my friends who are going to be attending…but MORE importantly, I cannot wait to see the Lord at work! It is going to be such an incredible experience!
I will be trying from now on to not write novels on here…starting today. 🙂 Sorry for making them so long–I just have so much running through my head!
Last thought: I have decided that it is okay to be positive a majority of the time…in the past, I’ve been told that I was “too positive” about things…and I have begun to realize that that is not the case…and I am happy the way I am! I do not see things through “rose-colored lenses” by any means–but I see the potential for good in nearly every situation…and that’s okay. More on this later…
May my mind today be filled with thoughts about the Lord…
Interesting…
Try this…not as easy as it looks! I got it in 57 seconds the first time…
Monday, Monday…
So, not much to say…hence the lack of posts in the past few days. Allergies have been pretty bad, and that affects my thoughts and my mental clarity, so I just haven’t been pondering too many things…
Worship yesterday was incredible…my duet went really well, also, so that was a blessing! I honestly love it so much when the Lord uses the gifts He has given me!
I baked 3 kinds of cookies yesterday (chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate chip, and white chocolate macadamia nut), because my Monday night Bible study group is being held at my place tonight! YAY! I LOVE having company! I also bought some peanut butter cookies, and made this delicious family dessert for the evening.
Yes, I went overboard on the goodies…but I was in the mood to bake, and I know they’ll get eaten! My roommate just laughed at me, because I was in the kitchen all afternoon…
Spent the evening with my dear friend (and former roommate) Sara…she’s back!! 🙂 YAY! I made Ciatola (my culinary invention) for her, and she loved it…that makes about 10 people now who have loved it (*only 10 have tried it*). That’s exciting!
Anyway, life is good…definitely ready for the wisdom teeth to come out (2 weeks from today) because they hurt when I sing…
Read the blogs on my sidebar for some good insight and reading material! Especially this one.
Have a wonderful day!
