I just talked to my boss. Good news! He is feeling GREAT, and is coming back on Monday, unless anything else happens this weekend. It was so great to finally get the full story, instead of just bits and pieces.

He said that last Tuesday, he went home and his ankle was totally swollen and blue. They discovered a blood clot that was the biggest clot in that part of the body that they had seen at that hospital. He said that the doctor could not believe how lucky he was that it didn’t dislodge and move, because he “would have been a gonner…” Prayer works!!! 🙂

Anyway, he said that the pain from his ankle was far worse than the leg pain, and he was heavily sedated for all of last week in the hospital. He is so excited to come back to work–on crutches this time (good boy!)–and I know that we are all excited to see him as well!

Thank you SO much for your prayers! They have worked, and will continue to work.

As I posted last week, I have been dealing with a difficult problem at work, and I solved it last week–which was so exciting!

Today was the “big meeting” with my manager, my supervisor and team leader, a few other supervisors, and many other representatives from other departments. I had to present the issue and the solution–and everyone agreed to the solution!! 🙂 I was a bit nervous, but it went well, and I can now proceed with answering all the inquiries. Yay!!

Thursday is the first day of our big client conference, which takes place at Huntington Beach at a very nice hotel. I am looking forward to that, as well, because I will be able to interact with our high profile clients, ask them questions, and learn how we can better serve them. It is going to be great!

Tonight’s my weekly “Girl’s Night” and I can’t wait to discuss things with these girls. I learned a lot this weekend, and I need to share! 🙂

I spent the weekend in beautiful Northern California, and it was wonderful. I learned a great deal, and I’ll blog more about it later. The wedding was great! My time with my best friend was SO needed, and the conversations we had were absolutely wonderful. I spent a fabulous afternoon with a wonderful woman and her beautiful family today, and it was an incredible blessing.

Well, we found out today that they found a blood clot in his foot, which is why he was taken to the hospital. Lord willing, he will not be out as long as last time, as this surgery was much “simpler” than the last one. Praise the Lord for that!

Still, please keep praying for him, as this can’t be easy…

In good news, I completed my first management class today–and it was an incredible experience! I loved the class, and I completely and wholeheartedly want to be in management now! 🙂 Yay!

It’s off to NorCal tomorrow morning, because Chris and Mandy are getting married on Saturday!! Have a great weekend!

Apparently, I’ve changed a bit over the past few years… 🙂

Well, bad news. My boss is back in the hospital again! 😦

We don’t know many details, but we know that he had surgery today, and that he is on another “leave of absence”…

Please pray for him and his family. This news is devastating, and I cannot believe this is happening again!

God is so good…

I’ve been dealing with a very difficult jurisdiction problem at work for the past week, and because I was the one who discovered the problem–and that it was going to become huge–and because I am working on becoming a member of management, the issue was assigned to me to resolve and create procedures for how to respond to this issue so that everyone on my team would be able to answer the same way.

Well, I went in early today in order to focus on this issue with my boss, and…after 3-4 hours, WE FIGURED IT OUT!!! I had been praying that God would give me clarity and insight in order to be able to solve the issue…and He did. 🙂 So, now we will have a meeting next week to propose the solution to the other leaders, and if it “passes” I will have another “accomplishment” under my belt for the management process. I was SO relieved and excited today when I figured it out today!

Another great thing is that I am in training Wednesday and Thursday, and I’m off on Friday (flying to NorCal)…so really, today was my last day of work for the week 🙂 Yay!

Tonight is our weekly “girls’ night”–which has been SUCH a blessing! There are four of us so far, and it is an amazing time of sharing, praying, discussing books, etc.

It’s going to be a great week…

My boss was back at work today after about nine weeks in and out of the hospital!! Praise the Lord! The doctors still have no idea what is wrong with him, and the wound on his leg is still open (it will take 6 months to a year to heal! Crazy!), but he is in good spirits and he looks great. It was seriously such a blessing to have him back at work today!
