Off to Tunisia…

Well, we’re off! We leave for the airport in 40 minutes, so I have to check my email and all that good stuff, since we won’t have Internet access for three weeks.

Please pray for our team. We return to the States on June 9th, and I will definitely post pictures and stories from our adventure!

Until then, may God bless you and keep you!

Prayer Requests…

This morning, at 2:30am, I woke up with severe pain in my left ear…and I have an ear infection. I will be on antibiotics for a week–and all sounds are distorted in my ear. Please pray for quick healing, as I can’t imagine that flying with an ear infection is fun!

Also, one of my Tunisia team members broke her back last week, and will be unable to come to Tunisia with us. Pray for Julia, for quick recovery, and for comfort in this disappointment. I cannot believe this!

Other than that, life is going well. I’m getting ready for a yard sale (since my parents don’t want to move all my stuff to D.C.–they’d rather sell my furniture and buy new stuff out there)…

Please pray for Team Tunisia!

Graduation…

Wow–graduation has come and gone…amazing!

It still doesn’t feel real. I wasn’t really emotional at all today, and I think that’s because I’m SO exhausted from this past semester.

I’ve posted some pictures below. What a great evening!

I’m DONE!!

Woo hoo! I am now officially finished with my bachelor’s degree…amazing. Seriously, it is SO weird to think that once September rolls around I won’t be in school for the first time in 18 years!

Now, time to pack, pick up family at the airport, and prepare to enter “the real world.”

So exciting!!

Tunisia Countdown: 13 days!!

I cannot believe it–in two weeks exactly I will be in Tunis, Tunisia, getting settled in for the night. Last night was our commissioning service, and it was a really awesome experience. I am SO excited to travel there!

To commemorate this, I have posted some pictures from three of the places we will be going. Also, here is a link to some pictures of the country.

13 days!
