Merry Christmas!!
We had a “white Christmas” this morning…FOG. LOL. At least it is still only 36 degrees–which is cold for California! I’ll be blogging through pictures, I think, instead of writing. More fun that way!
Christmas Eve with the Close Family
Tonight was wonderful–and humorous. Only our family could do the things we did tonight! The funniest thing to me was when my Grandmother decided to have a family bet to see when my Aunt Sandee and cousin Kailee would arrive from Sacramento. So, we all had to put a dollar into the pool–kids included–and we did it by the minute. I was 8 minutes off–darn! 🙂 Everyone was so into it, and it made me smile.
I had a great visit with my Grandfather–as always. He and I have always had a special relationship, especially with our political bond. I really love my whole family–and as I get older I realize that I don’t mind the idiosyncracies as much, and I don’t mind the quirks…we are all family, we are all SO much alike…and that’s all that matters. I am so blessed to have a huge family that loves each other and spends time together!
Tomorrow will be spent with my Mom’s side of the family, and will be wonderful as well.
Merry Christmas!
